Strawbiscus Iced Tea is a community drink developed by our pals at Company Drinks and made at our East London Soda Works.
Company Drinks is a community space and social enterprise based in Barking and Dagenham, where we make drinks with and for each other. Company Drinks started out in 2014 to bring people and communities back together through picking flowers, fruit and herbs, reconnecting with nature, local green spaces and the nearby countryside. They produce and sell drinks in a totally local economy, with sales being ploughed back into funding the next year’s activities.
We’ve known and worked with Company Drinks since 2014, helping to take the produce they collect and turn it into pop for them to sell. This year, we're delighted to be working with them again to help create all kinds of wonderful drinks for them, including this brand-new Strawbiscus Iced Tea. The flowers for this drink were picked on 5 June 2021 during a foraging walk to Eastbrookend Country Park.
We'll be donating 20% from every sale of Strawbiscus Iced Tea via our online store to Company Drinks to help fund their future projects for young people living in East London.
